Product Description
The Burkard 900X offers very high precision dispensing with a mean accuracy of 0.4% using gas-tight syringes. The error is reduced with larger volumes. Volumes of 0.1 microlitre increments can easily be set on the thumbwheel switch and a single delivery can be increased up to 999 microlitres. Two syringes cover the entire range of aliquot volumes – 1 ml and 10 ml glass syringes, with luer fitting.
The 900X is designed to overcome the inherent problems of dispensers utilising electronic linear motors. A low voltage fully electronic unit, computer compatible, which can be operated from foot, hand or remote switching, making it completely safe with hazardous materials. Rapid traverse is available in both directions and safety devices are fitted to avoid damage to the mechanism during use.
Construction and Equipment Details
Robustly built for long-term high precision dispensing. The syringe driver utilises an independent precision ball carriage and motor unit avoiding the use of a linear stepping device. With this arrangement correct alignment is maintained and ensured accuracy over long periods.
